Every picture here can be cut into anywhere from 12 to 2000 pieces and played alone or with friends. Each one is graded automatically for difficulty by how much its neighbouring pixels differ — because what makes a jigsaw hard is sameness, not subject.

Animals

Wildlife, pets, and everything with fur or feathers. Usually easy to medium. Close-up portraits get harder near the edges.

Nature

Forests, mountains, rivers and open country. Medium. Wide skies and still water are the hard part.

Cities & Buildings

Skylines, streets, doorways and rooftops. Easy to medium. Repeating window grids can be deceptively tricky.

Food

Markets, ingredients, and things worth eating. Easy. Among the friendliest categories for high piece counts.

Flowers

Blooms, gardens and close-up petals. Easy to medium. Macro close-ups are harder than they look.

Ocean

Coastlines, waves and what lives underneath. Ranges from very easy to genuinely hard. Check the badge first.

Travel

Landmarks and places worth the trip. Medium. The landmark comes together long before the sky does.

Art & Patterns

Colour, geometry and deliberate design. Graded easy or medium, because the measure sees plenty of detail — but repeating motifs make these harder to solve than the badge suggests.

Space

Nebulae, planets and deep sky. Medium to hard. Large black regions are unforgiving.

Vehicles

Cars, trains, boats and bicycles. Easy to medium. Large flat body panels are the sticking point.

Seasons

Autumn colour, winter light and everything between. Autumn is very easy. Snow scenes are among the hardest here.
